FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who is a fascia roller suitable for?

For anyone who wants to prevent or treat tension, muscle soreness, or restricted movement – whether a beginner, professional athlete, office worker, or rehabilitation patient. It is used for self-massage and helps to mobilize and relax the fascia – the connective tissue surrounding muscles and organs.

How often and for how long should I use the fascia roller?

  • 2-3 times a week is often enough.
  • Roll slowly for approximately 1-2 minutes per muscle group.
  • More frequent treatment is possible in cases of severe tension or active training.

Rolling with a foam roller hurts me. Is that normal?

It can be mildly uncomfortable to painful – especially with severely adhered tissue. Pay attention to a comfortable level of discomfort; pain should never be sharp or persistent.

When should I not roll?

  • In case of acute injuries , inflammations or open wounds
  • After surgery (only after consulting a doctor)
  • In cases of severe varicose veins or blood clotting disorders

If in doubt, we always recommend consulting your doctor or physiotherapist.
